Our President Needs a Science Lesson
Although, like many, I think he simply reads the words put in front of him. He leaves the hard work to the invisibles in the government. It's not a bad deal, really. He plays golf and gets the adulation, they mess up the country but can retreat back into the obscurity of the back rooms. The gravy is that he can do what he has always done: By not publishing in his own law review and by voting "present" on a controversial bill, he can claim credit for what works and deny involvement for what doesn't.
The press would call this "brilliant". But, the press more and more reminds me of a decadent and tubercular European from a Thomas Mann novel.
