Narragansett it is, but instead of staying on the streets patrolled by an increasingly hostile and suspicious constabulary, it's the KOA in Mystic, Conn. So, I'll check out the local aquarium and the historic seaport and take advantage of the fire ring and wi-fi. All this for the same price as one night in a shore motel.
One more motel day and then the 5 hour trip up the coast and through New York City. Ugh, metro traffic. I'll leave here at 3 a.m. to avoid it.
