I don't know if it was the sudden change in temperature, it was pleasantly cool last night, or the knowledge that I'd be still and comfortable in one place for over a month starting this week, or the really nice mattress in the inn where I'm staying, but it has been months since I had such a good night's sleep.

So, the truck should be finished by the end of business today and I'll leave at 3 a.m. for the drive through the metro area to south Jersey.  On Friday morning, I'll be in the surf in time to see the sun come up.  I don't even care if there are any waves.
