The Gun Control Lobbyist Zombie, by contrast, is a generic figure, and as generic figures go, lobbyists are not the most sympathetic. Murphy makes quite a leap in equating gun-control lobbyists with "victims of gun violence." Furthermore, although the Gun Control Lobbyist Zombie is depicted as a victim of violence, our understanding is that zombies kill people not with guns but by eating their brains.
This is all good fun, but there's also a serious First Amendment question here. The Gun Control Lobbyist Zombie is manifestly a piece of political commentary, and there is something unseemly about a member of the United States Congress--somebody with lawmaking power--effectively demanding that a U.S. citizen shut up.
